I am far from the first Englishman in history to have my house razed by Clan McGregor, but I'm proudly among a smaller number who have had them rebuild it! Steve and his team took down the rear structures of my house to build a new open plan rear extension with fitted kitchen etc. They also put in a new driveway and front wall, as well as some other work in other parts of the house (replacement windows etc).
From the very first, Steve was thoroughly engaged and made some fundamental and welcome interventions in the design phase. It was a genuine pleasure to have the team on site - hard working, professional, real focus on quality of delivery and an ethos instilled in the whole team of doing the very best possible job. I'm delighted with the job they did and would go directly to them for any future work.

McGregor Design and Build recently completed the refurbishment of my home in Headley Down.
Steve and his entire team were excellent from start to finish and were a pleasure to work with. Steve's overall knowledge and experience provided us with complete re-assurance and the co-ordination and communication provided by Arran was fist class. I have worked with a number of developers and contractors over the years but would rate McGregor's as the best I have ever worked with. The project was delivered on budget, to programme with the quality of work being excellent.
I would thoroughly recommend McGregor's to anyone wanting to complete works to their property's in the local area.
If I could score them 11 out of 10 I would.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring McGregor's for a building project involving blocking up an existing bi-fold doors, installing new French doors, plastering and redecorating two rooms. Although a relatively small job (for McGregor's), it required coordination of several different trades, and I was very impressed with how smoothly everything went. Arran, the project manager, did an exceptional job overseeing the entire process and every member of the team did an amazing job.
I am very pleased with the finished result and would definitely recommend McGregor's for any Building work.

We've experienced poor builders and good builder and these are the good ones. Steve and Arran are extremely knowledgeable and all the team take pride in their work and doing things 'properly'. Unfortunately they came on site in part to fix a number of issues left by our original builders - I can happily say that my stress levels have reduced significantly since they came on board! It's nice to feel like we're in a safe pair of hands
They have a good relationship with building control because the building control team know they won't cut corners. We've rarely had an issue with their work, but on the odd occasion something wasn't exactly right they've come back immediately. Arran takes it as a point of pride that he wants you to be happy - to the extent that they repurchased some flooring from us as a favour when we changed our minds on the colour we wanted and the supplier was going to charge us a fortune to swap it.
I really can't recommend the team highly enough
